The club remained in Division 2 and have sights set on gaining promotion back to Division 1 after the 3 CSSAL matches. It was a fruitful day with the 13 competing DTFC athletes setting 23 Personal Bests (PBs) on the day.

There were only four athletes in the U15 category all entering two events each and all setting PBs in all their events. Poppy Buchanan ( 14.38secs) was 8th in her 100m and 10th in her javelin ( 8.69m) while Evanne Carson was 9th in her 100m in 14.41secs and 4th in her shot putt throwing 6.06m. There was also the ever-improving Abby McAndrew with an excellent 6th in her 800m (2.37mins) and 10th in the shot putt ( 4.74m) and Rachel Petrie who was 11th in her javelin ( 6.04m) and 12th in her 800m (2.49mins)

There was only one U17 athlete competing and that was Lucy Gibb. She finished 3rd in her 800m ( 2..29mins) SB and set a PB in her 3.50m  long jump.

The trio of U20 athletes were also setting PBs and SBs in their events. Kirstin Penman secured two 4th place finishes in her 400m ( 69.37secs) SB and javelin ( 21.23m)PB while Sarah Kane set a 12.94secs PB in her 100m where she finished 3rd and threw a 19.79m PB in her javelin to finish 5th.
